It's not that we don't listen. Adding face scans isn't the simple process everyone thinks it is. We do as many as we can. There are licensing rights and regulations we also have to adhere to. So, suggestions are fine, but just because they aren't actioned on, it doesn't mean that's because we're not listening.

Excuses, in what way isnt adding a face into an videogame in 2025 easy? Like comeon now. Licensing right and regulations, if you guys listened and cared about this topic that wouldnt be an issue, im sure every nhl/pro-hockeyplayer wants their face in the game, you guys could do it if you wanted to.

Creating realistic ai-generated faces have never been this easy!!! Other Ea games get it? ”Nhl isnt as big” Yeah its an pay to win game(hut) for 70-100$, its big enough to atleast get small details right, franchaisemode didnt even get an update this year………(Not towards you as an person or employee)

I'm not able to go into the details, but there is absolutely no laziness here. We can't just generate an AI face and paste it on a generic head. It doesn't work like that.

  I appreciate the effort the team has put into improving roster likeness and adding more scans, even if many are AI generated. There are still some noticeable issues with hairstyles and consistency, but overall the progress is clear and a big step forward compared to past years.
  
  In the past the number of generic faces was frustrating, especially since we have had the same templates for so long without the ability to truly edit them into something accurate. It would help a lot if users had more tools for customization to fine tune player likeness.
  
  Now that EA has shown it can push out many new faces at once with AI generated scans, please encourage the development team to keep that momentum and release more likenesses in roster updates throughout the year.
  
  We should not go through an entire season with so many key players missing accurate faces. These players matter to the game and to the league, and their likenesses should be added as soon as possible.
