Javiair​ EA_Aljo​ I agree with this. Javiair I've been Calling For the Features NHL14 had for years. How does a Game made 12 years ago have more to offer than NHL 26. Now I understand quality has gone down on almost every game. But NHL has been really bad. Aljo says His team doesnt play as much because life gets in the way.and im sure thats the case for a lot of people. But Im sure the quality of the game the last 10 years has been the biggest reason people stop playing. I keep buying the game Hoping for change. Life doesnt allow me to play Hockey as much as I use to so these games allowed us to connect with friends and have fun playing the game we all love. Unfortunately I really haven't enjoyed the game in a long time. 

They wonder why I keep bringing up NHL 14. You brought up a couple good Examples with the banners and 3 stars and In my opinion those 2 things are the least of our worry. If youve read my posts I was a huge fan of the ability to change Our stick Flex Blade curve and skate radius. I was a Huge fan of The Boost packs and attributes back then. EASHL was at its best back then. Since 14 EA has slowly Ruined Eashl as a mode. I will admit there were a couple titles that weren't terrible but they definitely weren't close to what NHL 09-14 offered. 

Peoples biggest complaint back in the day was the card system. If you remember the Card system was how you unlocked Your boost/attributes. You needed A certain grade and 350 to max out your attributes. The reason people didnt like that was because some players could play 350 games faster than others. So people complained that they were playing max rank when they were low rank which was messed up. 

Ea Completely Overhauled Eashl when all they needed to do was give us The Attributes without ranking up and allow us to unlock the Boost.

EASHL is a mode that should be all customization. Boost allowed us to Add More attributes to key categories. On NHL 26 Xfactors make Attributes irrelevant. Xfactors have to much control over your player its an awful add to the game. 

Aljo Said The features NHL 14 are gone because its been 12 years. Sure but those features were awesome. The Features you get on NHL 26 are Stupid skins Prebuilds and Holiday jerseys. How is it that NHL 14 had more to offer than the new games do?

I will Keep trying to get a Solid Mix Of New and Old.  Keep NHL 26 gameplay and give me NHL 14 features. 

MostlyHubris​ What Im saying is Id rather play NHL 14 over NHL 26. Since I know they wont Budge on A complete Overhaul I try  compromise. Give me NHL 26 Gameplay.  Remove prebuilds Skins. And Bring back The features NHL 14 had. 

Boost are far better than Xfactors.

Menus on 14 were Just as fast and Better than the menus on NHL 26.

They removed Stick curve Flex and Skate Radius for what? That was a awesome feature that shouldn't have been removed.

NHL 14 allowed us to put Attributes to the test. By Have free skate with a skills course. 

NHL 14 allowed us to set our winger at the top of the circle in the offensive zone. That hasn't been in a game since.

NHL 14 had 3 stars and Banners .

NHL 26 has prebuilds skins and Xfactors. 

Game isnt good. 

Best thing to do is don't buy the game. They use their internal feedback from God knows where that tells them everyone is giving positive feedback on every years game, except when you scour these forums and Reddit, it's clearly the opposite.

They don't care about GM connected because it can't be monetized, they don't care about EASHL, because the community has already pushed back on monetization for this mode. They give be a pro and offline modes updates every 5 years. 

Ever notice the long list of updates and upgrades to HUT EVERY year? Yeah, there you go. The old EA NHL game is gone, and we're never getting it back.

Just stop buying the game...

the HDR implementation is awful.

They do not care, and it really is that simple. If they cared, they’d remove the dressing room bugs that have been in the game for 10+ years. If they cared, they would listen to core community concerns, like complaints on X factors (arcade hockey in what’s supposed to be your comp mode (6v6 clubs) good idea EA). If they cared, they would be honest with their player base when they demand answers to questions that aren’t answered in any trailers or deep dives. If they cared, they would cater to the game & modes as it releases: ANNUALLY. Yet game after game we have to suffer through the same bugs, A CAREER MODE THAT WENT UNCHANGED FOR 5 RELEASES (is ts even legal?!) and below mid (being generous) gameplay. 

There is no solution to this problem, there is no competition, and EANHL gets too salty at people who offer critical honest feedback, they have beef with Steve dangle and his crew that runs for 10+ years because they were honest about the game. They surround themselves with yes men (hence kidshowtime having a hero badge) and gaslight concerned players into believing that this product is worth the price.

Whatever these mods reply, ignore it. We all know the answer on how to change this product, but nobody wants to commit to not playing the new chel until new years (when the sale is on and the game is actually worth the price, $35) because it’s the only hockey game. If we campaign for a year straight and tell EVERYONE not to buy NHL 27 until new years, EANHL would take a massive hit in profit and they would likely think twice before ignoring key concerns again. Won’t happen, fun to fantasize about though.

The in game HDR is dark, 

We're getting very few reports of this. The majority of the playerbase is most likely using HDR. If this was happening for everyone, we'd have more reports. For now, the best we can do is keep an eye on this to see if others start commenting on it. Otherwise, the best I can advise is to try a new HDMI cable and adjust your settings.

What really amuses me is this inherent belief that you are forced to buy the new game every year. Like EA is somehow responsible for your inability to handle FOMO. 

By dishing out full price every year, you're telling EA "Yep, more please". It's that simple. Buying the game, playing it past the return date for your specific console, and then spending the next 10-11 months raging about how bad of a game it is - and then repeating that cycle year over year just because you can't miss out on the new game (which is weird considering you hate it) is not something EA needs to "fix". 

You, as the consumer need to say "No more of this. Make some changes please" by way of not giving them your money. And if there aren't enough people saying "No" to EA - then this means you are in the minority. 

Considering the new ownership of EA sports, now would be a great time to say "No" to EA if you really sincerely hate the game.

Literally hundreds of thousands of users playing with no graphical issues. It's clearly a setup issue with your TV.

Looks completely fine on the low-end 55" TV in my living room (with HDR) and looks fantastic on my 1440p gaming monitor. I think some of you need to calibrate your HDR on your TV.

I would argue most people likely have their TV's set to Gaming Mode, which removes HDR processing for better response time.
