Which mod

I've been angry at the new NHL for years, and maybe I just don't understand it. I want to ask the developers officially, when two brothers are playing on one Xbox and we have two controllers, what mode can we both play so that it's fun? Playing now is absolutely boring, the organization doesn't work, the season is incredibly stupidly configurable, career mode is impossible, so what are we actually supposed to play?

I am very pleased that someone is interested. That is why I thought about how to better describe my problem, or rather my suggestion for improvement. As a result, I realized that one change is enough to completely transform the experience. Description: At the beginning of the season, we choose the teams we want to play for. If this were changed to "full control over the team," trades, roster. Even if I don't choose a team, I can still play a match for it. So, when the gamepad lights up on the screen and tells me I'm playing for that team, if a second gamepad is logged in, it can go to the other side. Now it's locked on the UI, which is dominant, and there's nothing I can do about it. If the UI record was second in line and the gamepad was superior and could play on its side, it would be absolutely fabulous. Thank you for your interest.

I play co-op through HUT. However the games have to be done through exhibition on NHL25 which does not give you a lot of progress towards weekly rewards and objectives, so you still have to do additional grinding for rewards. 26 will have a similar casual mode that will allow co-op.
EA really needs to include co-op in their new cup chase mode so folks can play together and still earn rewards but the HUT deep dive video didn't seem to show or mention this.

I understand, but what if we want to play against each other? You only mention one side, that we want to play together.

You said you wanted to play against each other. Which you can do so I'm not sure what the issue is. Can you explain better where exactly you want to play against each other? I'm understanding you don't like the Play Now mode, but what exactly are you looking to do with vs play?

I understand and thank you for your reply. We lack sophistication. For example, we would love to play a season with playoffs. We are already playing this module, but we are getting around it by having to click that we are playing for all 32 teams, otherwise it doesn't make sense. With a few tweaks, this mode would be absolutely awesome.
