Why are all club games on road?

I have had 1 gome game in last 6. Before that it was almost 12 in a row. You dont show any splits but I have a feeling theres a reason for that.

Its preposterous and rhe home and road advantage is so bad. Incredibly. Up 2 or 3 and then all the sudden with 2 mins left 3 goals and a OT winner. Why do we even play home and road? Its impossible to win on road, you have to be perfect. Its silly.

Also why do we allow teams options to make white homes or color aways. It shouldn't even be allowed. So you got a black jersey and guys play you with black jerseys. Shouldn't even be an option.you can change em sure but if you miss it or they don't last second it's pointless.

Road games are ao dumb. Im pretty aure I quit most as it is completely unfair and seems like a loss no matter what. So awful. No NHL team goes on road 8 in a row ever. What a joke.

  • Since you play from the same end all 3 periods. Does it really matter whether your home or away. What is the advantage? And regarding jerseys. I agree. You should be able to don the jersey of your choice, since it happens the odd time, but teams end up with white or dark jerseys against each other.

If you play chel enough, theres a huge difference playing on the road. You get phantom calls. Your guys skate like their in mud, bounces galore and wild animations. You're also allowed to get straight up punked, inteferences, boardings with no calls. Playing on the road in chel is a huge disadvantage and when you play 12 in a row on the road its like getting your teeth kicked in back to back to back.

I can agree with you on the game having problems. Like the lag, skating in wet cement. Bad interference calls, and the overall lack of justifiable penalties, etc. However. I cant see how playing home vs away enters into the pic. If you had to play from both ends of the ice. I could see that being a difference. But you play from the same end all game. And the problems you mentioned. Are not just seen in CHEL, but in all venues. I have seen others on here complaining about different aspects of playing CHEL. So in a way, i guess your not alone in that regard. But like i said. Game has problems. But the home vs away, i dont believe is the cause.

I would implore you to try the mode. Its two completely different games. When youre away you may as well not even play. Your passes dont connect even with 99 passing. Doesn't matter which way you're going. You got called for  pens where nobody even touched anyone. Phantom calls. Goalie interference calls that dont get called on the other side and just overall garbage. Players skate right by you or split 2 or 3 guys but you cant even get up ice. Your passes do not hit the intended players and your comp goalies let in shots thru their bodies but the home goalies just make these insane saves. Like playing Hasek vs Georgiev. Its maddening.

On top of that you get insane comebacks against you and no matter what you cant stop it. Up 3 with 2 mins left and next thing you know its OT and you lost on 1 shot from point after you had pressure for 2 mins and 5-10 shots on they come down some how and youre sitting there wondering how. Goals with .5 left constantly when youre away tying or winning the game and leaving you no chance. And like 6 of those in a row. Literally outplaying the opponent to 40 shots to 7. 10 mins attack to 4 and yet youre the away team so it dont matter. Its bonkers the difference in game play when at home vs playing away and they line you up with like 7-12 away games in a row

I have had all the same issues you've outlined in your posts on this thread.  I think we can all agree the game itself has issues that need addressing.  However, I just haven't had the break down home vs away you are mentioning here.  The issues happen to us regardless of who is home/away.  For my own experience, my team is decent (not world beaters, just solidly gold 1s), we are 7-1-2 in last 10 and I'd say roughly 8 of the 10 we were the road team (we take note because we seem to be on the road a lot as well).

Fair enough. Maybe I'm a conspiracy theorist looking for validation but I would ask you pay attention to home/away  moving forward and see if there's interesting takeaways from the experience. I've been saying this since 24 but realize it even more so in 26 than any other version. Keep in mind it should be harder to play on road but not throw the controller hard. I feel as if the splits are just insane and if you dont play a perfect game you may as well quit.

Its tough to suss out sometimes without being able to go back and look at a large data set.  For us it always feels like 3rd periods tend to have a difference to them compared to 1 and 2...maybe the other team is pushing harder?  Maybe my team gets lazy?  Maybe its something under the hood?  But we've always felt like even if we keep a game close in 1 and 2, it seems to break open in the 3rd.  Or may be we just notice it more.

I will say we do have more road games for whatever reason.  We continually complain we don't get to try out our new rink or home jersey updates much :)

Maybe its something under the hood?

Just wanted to chime in to say there is most definitely nothing built in to the game that artificially decides who wins and loses. Whether you're home or away, it's always how both teams play that determines the outcome.

That may be the case and I am in no way saying there is, but its interesting that people feel that there is and it seems that is a major issue that people even question it. Why do people feel the need to bring it up. Again I believe there is nothing like that happening and in now ay saying that at all but it seems others in this community feel that there is so it should raise red flags right?

Yeah, it's curious why there are some clubs experiencing this. My club played 4 games last night. Game 1 was at home and we lost. Games 2, 3 and 4 were away and we won each of them. I'm not saying there's no issue. Just stating my personal experience. We're not aware of anything that would cause everyone's away games to behave the way yours have, but we'll certainly keep an eye out for other reports.
