Gameplay is stuttering

Thanks for checking. The best I can advise is to try all the troubleshooting steps here. Make sure you try using alternate DNS settings. We'll keep monitoring the servers for any issues. We're not aware of anything that would cause stuttering and are receiving very few reports of this.

ping was 20ms to 21ms no packet loss not spikes in connection at all

When this happens, are you checking the connection meter in the pause menu? If so, what does it say?

Same thing happens to me in eashl, everything stutters on a steady wired connection makes no sense. cant even play barely registers any inputs

Been playing EA NHL since the beginning. I’m on Series X playing offline season mode and the video stutters just about every 2nd or 3rd game.  You can clear the problem by quitting and reopening the game and/or restarting your console. Had the same problem with NHL 2025. Was hoping this would’ve been fixed for 2026 game. It’s so frustrating and almost unplayable. So disappointed. 

Do you also play wired controller? PS5 wireless isn't the best. Xbox wireless controller has less delay but if you used wired there should basically be none with each console.

i’ve been playing NHL competitively for almost 10 years and have made it deep multiple times in GWC. i play wired, flat ms every single online game, on a gaming monitor. nothing is wrong with my set up.

Ever since NHL 24, the game just feels super delayed on Ps5 and feels like Xbox players have the advantage. Feels like turning, skating, passing, player switching is all delayed and pretty much feels like i can’t compete against opponents anymore, and rather find myself competing against the game itself. 

Not sure if there is any setting to turn off/on to prevent any delay, for example the HUT moment tracker? i’m not sure what else to do because i’ve tried literally everything at this point, especially power cycling both my console and modem/router.

Yes, I am also on Xbox Series S. I only play offline modes (Franchise & Be A Pro). It doesn't stutter constantly but it happens at least once every game. I turned off the pressure meter display and it seemed to cause less stutter overall, but it still happens. 

Are you also on Xbox? If so, isn't an X or S? Also, are you stuttering in other modes outside of HUT?

I also just started experiencing this. Seemed fine the first couple of days, but lately I've noticed some in-game stutter. Power Cycling/restarting/etc. haven't worked for me.
