Golden Years Achievement Bugged

Question

After my BAP playthrough this year I noticed I wasn't able to unlock the golden years achievement even after trying both the press conference retirement as well as simulating until the end of my career.

With 3,000+ points and the legacy meter filled all the way up I would assume this would be enough to meet the criteria so I assume it's bugged at the moment.
