Hugging Post Glitch
While playing World of Chel goalie in NHL 26, if you hug the post standing up and even slightly touch the left-analog-stick in any direction to try to realign yourself, you’ll launch yourself off the post—often times as far as the hashmarks.
For an example, imagine a player on the opposing team has the puck behind the net and is looking to make that one-timer pass to the slot, but also has an option to take a couple steps for a quick short-side goal line shot (not a wrap around shot, a simple quick wrist shot on their forehand). In a game against high-quality players, you know that pass to the slot is the most dangerous option, but you don’t want to be so out of position that if the puck carrier behind the net DOES go for the short-side shot, you can’t get there. So as a goalie, in your past games, you’d want to hug that post standing up, but immediately come off it so it puts yourself in a position where your skates along the post, and it keeps your goalie’s stance at an angle to take a quick step out to face that one-timer shot, if the pass to the slot were to come.
You can no longer do that. In NHL 26 World of Chel, if you hug the post standing up and slightly touch the left-analog-stick in any direction, it has a very high possibility of launching your goalie as far as the bottom of the circle.
