As of now you don’t get rewarded at all for playing positional defense and using the poke check. I see time upon time that I do a GOOD poke check that should result in a loss of puck for my opponent ...

As a defenseman my play is very bad right now because despite having stick em up it feels like a luxury to actual get a poke check to connect. I was actually very effective with it 25 and all of a sudden I cant play sound defense just have to hope the goalie saves it and take out the lane
