Playing the game through cloud gaming on xbox one.
In the past week there has been many times in cloud gaming when I get notification of bad network for couple of secs then gameplay returns.
When returned it is 50/50 if the controller is still working. My network is fine and I have tried to repowering the controller and plugging it in but nothing works.
The outcome is that I get disconnected from the astute beta game because I cant move the player. After returning to the menu, the controller suddenly works again.
This is very frustrating to lose rank because of a bug.
I also have the same issue, and the fact that the controller sometimes stops responding immediately after the brief cloud-gaming network warning makes me wonder if the controller connection is being interrupted when the cloud session temporarily loses stability. What makes it especially confusing is that the controller does not necessarily recover when it is repowered or connected by cable, but then suddenly starts working again after returning to the menu. That seems different from a normal controller battery or pairing problem, particularly if the controller works normally outside the affected game. If the network warning only lasts a few seconds and gameplay resumes, it would be useful to know whether the cloud session is actually resetting some part of the input connection during that interruption. I think the timing of the controller failure is an important detail because it could help separate an ordinary controller issue from something happening within the cloud-gaming session itself.
I also have the same issue with the impact on ranked games, because even a short interruption becomes much more serious when the player has no way to control the game afterward. It would be helpful if the service could preserve the controller connection when there is a brief network fluctuation instead of leaving the session in a state where gameplay continues but input is no longer recognized. I would be interested to know whether other Xbox One users are seeing the same behavior specifically after the "bad network" notification, and whether it happens across multiple cloud games or only one particular title. If the controller consistently begins working again as soon as the player exits back to the menu, that seems like a useful reproducible detail for support to investigate rather than simply treating it as a general network problem.
