Salary limit?

Here I was, trying to add Kirill Kaprizovs new contract extension of 17 million dollar x 8 to my roster, but the game won't let me! 🧐 I'm only allowed to go to 15 million... that isn't even the limit this 25/26 season (19,1 million is 20% of 95,5).

How can this even be a thing? Have I missed something? I'm looking at shared rosters and it seems this is the same for everyone, that Kaprizov's extension is "only" 15 million. 😕

I wanted to start a franchise now, but stuff like this really puts me off and I will wait until this works properly.
