Taking tokens

The new beast mode event is really expensive and is taking me a lot of work to get tokens. I just made a single token and grabbed it out of the inbox. That had no issues. But when I went to upgrade the Sanhiem msp the token wasn't in my collection. Then about 5 minutes later it popped up in My collection and then tried to upgrade sanhiem and I selected the token and the card did not upgrade and the token is gone. This event is already expensive enough.
