XBox Series S Trigger unresponsive in EA games

Just tested with another controller- and when that controller was plugged in the trigger worked. This means it's probably controller specific, so how do I go about fixing it? The controller I tested with has really bad stick drift and is unusable, hence the reason I got the wired controller.

Most likely, you need to replace the controller or you could try repairing it.
