Banned for moving account.

Gave my son my Xbox after I got a ps5 he doesn’t play HUT so I moved all the cards/coins over to the other account…. Not even very much. Maybe a couple 92 ovr and a few 90-91. Coins were 130k. I got banned and they won’t contact me. I bought the game for both systems but I could not connect my old account to the new PS5. Did I mess something up. I spent some money on my HUt account and didn’t want it to go to waste. Kinda pissed about this bc now I have to wait 10 more days unless they unban me.

  • If you believe this ban was a mistake or you want to explain the situation to the Terms of Service (ToS) team, you can officially appeal it here:

    https://help.ea.com/help-tools/penalty-history/

    How to do it:

Log in to your EA Account.

Look for the ban/suspension in your history.

Click on "Dispute" or "Contact Us" to start the appeal process.

A few tips for your appeal:

Be honest: Explain that you were moving your own content between your own consoles (Xbox to PS5) and didn't realize it violated the "Coin Distribution" rules.

Proof of Purchase: Mention that you bought the game for both systems; it shows you are a loyal customer, not a coin seller.

Be Patient: The ToS team is the only ones who can lift bans. EA Help chat or forum managers (like Aljo) cannot do it for you. It usually takes a few days to get a response via email.

  • Headline: Why you were banned for "Moving Account"

I understand your frustration, especially since you’ve supported the game on both platforms, but here is the breakdown of why the automated system flagged your account:

Coin Transferring Rule: EA’s Terms of Service (ToS) strictly prohibit moving coins between accounts, even if both accounts belong to you or a family member. Moving 130k coins is a large enough transaction to trigger an automatic "Coin Distribution" ban instantly.

Market Manipulation: Transferring several high-rated cards (90–92 OVR) by selling them for non-market values between accounts is flagged as market manipulation.

No Cross-Platform Transfers: Unfortunately, there is no official way to move a HUT team or its value from Xbox to PlayStation. Any manual attempt to "move" the wealth is seen by the system as "Coin Buying/Selling."

    What happens now?

The 10-Day Ban: If your message says 10 days, it is likely a temporary suspension and a Coin Wipe (they will likely empty your coin balance).

Contacting EA: The regular EA Help chat cannot lift bans. You must fill out a form at tos.ea.com.

The Reality: To be honest, EA rarely overturns these because the system logs the transaction as a violation of the "No Coin Distribution" rule, regardless of the intent.

Since you are already banned, the best thing is to wait out the 10 days and avoid any further transfers between those accounts, or you risk a permanent perma-ban. Better ask EA_Aljo
