Community ManagerEA_Aljo the game does not work like that. Other players getting ranked up does not push your rank down. You rank up via wins only. You rank down when you lose. Ranked Levels are not fluid.
Who are you? What have you done with Aljo? I'm pretty sure he knows how the game works... You're talking about Ranked like it's a squad battles leaderboard from 3 years ago.
Sorry about that. That's my fault for not playing the new HUT format. Previously, you could lose rank by not playing. I'll mention FcRapid2018 issue to the team.

Packs are granted when a rank is reached during the season. At the end of the season, your rank is reset to Gold 1 (if you were in Diamond or higher at the end of the last season)
When you play 1 game in the new season, you are granted ALL reward packs from Bronze 1 to Gold 1. The guy is saying, the new season started and he was on Diamond 3 in S4. So S5 he started at Gold 1, played a game, and got S5 Ranked Packs up to Gold 1.
