Dunno how long it’s been like this but at least 4 years. All of the other lines move up or down based on performance but the PK just seems to go down. Doesn’t matter how many you kill before it drops so low you never see ice time. Figured I’d get the yearly post about this started for posterity’s sake.
The line score glitch is present yet again. Likely due to copying and pasting a majority of your game code every year.
Possibly due to you literally recoding the same stupid mistakes.
Either way there's no way to be on the penalty kill in be a pro. 100% defense in a game where my team gets a shout-out. I blocked 5 shots. Negative score for the pk line which clearly should have been a significant positive score.
.this lack of attention to any amount of detail is indefensible for such a massive company.
No mans sky was built by a team of like 18 people and while it was awful at launch, they actually fixed it
Ea Vancouver has from what i understand, 1300 people. You don't even make a new game you just copy the old on, glitches and all, and change a few minor details.
You guys really need to hold yourselves accountable.

I'm sick of the same old glitches and mistakes with this game. what they need to do is make two games... one for online only and one for Be A Pro only because they only work on the online portion every year and I don't play online. I wish everyone who only plays BaP would not buy this game until they fix it the right way cause I might not buy it next time it comes out and I love hockey. what they do in this game is nothing like their real counterparts. I do understand that there are SOME things that happens in real life that you can't do in a game but come on!!! if the computer opponent AI can do it so can my teammate AI which they don't. and like I said in a previous post, if someone can blow out the computer AI every game on superstar then so be it but most cannot (like me). that's why they should only go by the player attributes and stats instead of stupid game sliders which don't work anyway. if an 78-80 overall can do the same moves, poke check with the same accuracy, and shoot the same as a 85-95 overall then something is seriously wrong with this game. tired of getting frustrated every year

The team has this logged on their end. Hopefully we get a fix for it this year. We did notice it was reported in a thread from NHL 21 and highlighted it's still existing on the new engine. Thank you for raising this to us.
To be fair i have submitted trouble tickets, been in contact with customer support for Months and even filed a BBB complaint about this issue just to get this message.
Ive been at it for the past month.
This is not a complicated fix and its been in 2 games.

It's very possible this could be considered an easy fix. One former EA Community Manager explains it well in these tweets here how things can be a little more complicated than expected from those on the outside looking in. We see "it's an easy fix" brought up in the industry but for conversation sake let's just say there are 100's of bugs with easy fixes. How do you prioritize which one is more important than the others? What if one bug that is extremely important to the community, however not game breaking, causes two other non bugs to show up through testing but will take the same amount of time to fix 10 other bugs? Does the game mode matter, surely it must play a factor due to where the majority of the population is. Not all game modes have the same type of resources. Where I'm going with this is that on paper it might feel like it's an easy fix but there are other processes that go into these decisions as a business that factor on when it when and if it can be addressed.
Having bugs linger more than expected can be annoying for sure though, as gamers ourselves we have some that even can ruffle our feathers a bit. We went ahead and reached out to the team about this and it has been looked at. We do not have anything official in terms of when it will be addressed, however the good news is that the forum community here did their part in vocalizing it to help get it tracked.
Is this related to the "not covering point" penalty? I used to get positive points for staying out there and covering the point. The last two games I only get penalized for not covering the point.
awesome and to add one thing.... fix the player AI to work properly like the opponent AI
