This has also happened to me numerous times. No credit for a win or loss, but 21 contract games used? That's ridiculous.
That's really strange. We hear of this happening occasionally in EASHL, but not HUT. What mode was this happening in?

I've had it happen in two different situations, at least twice during online play and multiple times during Squad Battles.

If you crash or disconnect mid-game, everyone loses contracts because it counts as a loss. Are you disconnecting or does the whole game close and return you to the dashboard?

I appreciate it, but I've owned video game systems for a long time. I know the difference between if I crash and there's a problem with the game/server. It's the same thing every time. It says "lost connection to other player". I click finish game and it then sends me back to the main menu. I then have to reconnect to HUT. Neither me nor that player receives a win or loss, but it always uses contracts.

That's odd. One of you should be getting a loss. Are you playing on a wired or wireless connection?

Wired. I am usually running around 70-80 mbps.

Has it been a while since you power cycled your equipment? If so, try doing it now with these steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

That's like asking if I've unplugged it and plugged it back in! 😉. I have. Many times. That's my first plan of action.

Yes. It is, but it also resolves many issues.
Do you have a PC by chance? If so let’s find out how your connection is reaching our servers. Can you run a UO Trace and screenshot me the results? Instructions here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/.

I only have a laptop. Will it work the same?

Yes. A Windows laptop is still a PC. Just make sure it's wired. If possible, pull the cord from your console and plug that into your laptop.
