Kids cannot login to online play or link PSN account

Hi,

On a PS4 as a Family Manager I can play NHL19 online -everything seems OK. However my son can't. I logout from my account and into his, then start the NHL19. In the upper right it shows his EA sport username but when I go to settings, online settings, EA account info, it says it "unable to login". I press OK and it then displays "EA Account required". He has an Ea account and I can log into it from a laptop, I have an account too. I linked him as a teen to my account. Within the PS4 Family settings I opened or allowed all the settings basically bypassing them all at this point to try to get it to login. But I still can't. Last think I can think is we use the same PS4 account, I believe, because we are a set as a Family within PS4 account settings. Is this the problem, as in when I'm logged into the PS4 as me [Family Manager] then launch NHL19 it logs into my EA account via my PS4 account and all is good however when logged in as my son on PS4 [Family member], when NHL19 is launched its under his EA acct but it can't log into the server as its my PS4 account? Or is there a way to link the PS4 to his EA account? WHen I logged into my EA account I see the PS4 is linked to my EA account but when I logged into him I don't see a PS4 linked. However I linked his EA account to mine as a team. Running out of ideas here.  I un-installed NHL19 from PS4 and re-installed it after making the above changes hoping it would allow me to link or set his EA acct but it ended up working the same afterwards, I can play online but he can't still

Ideally:

1. he is a member as a teen within My EA account

2. i use PS4's family account and he is a member wand I am the manager, I open up some settings to allow him to play his friends online but not all is wide open...

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi there, @SniperDad1973

Is the account flagged as a child account? If so, he wouldn't be able to play any online modes. If he has a PSN ID, he should still be able to log in and play offline. You can try moving his PSN ID to a different EA account, but that will cause all progress on all EA games to be lost. You can contact an advisor here to see if that's possible: http://bit.ly/EA_Contact_Us.
