my son is having major issues while trying to play rivals the past 4 days. He can not get through one match without the face off glitch occurring and then being kicked out of the match. Every other online mode works except for this one. Help ASAP
I had him try to get a recording but there was an NHL 22 update the same day. Since the update, issue has seem to be fixed. He has no problems since and has played 5 rival games so far. Fingers crossed
The wired connection had zero effect. We actually uninstalled the game last night and the problem still occurred minutes into his first game.
He tried squads as well afterwards and played team of the week. He won the match but got zero rewards and coins. The main screen shows he lost the match which he clearly didn’t not.
He was able to complete that match yes. He can even play online versus with no issues. It all seems to focused on HUT Rivals.
We did change DNS servers already when they suggested it. It didn’t make any difference.
I think it is some weird bug on EA's part that they don't want to fix. I've been having this issue in online versus, others have reported it in WoC and HUT.

I am so over it that I am about to more or less give up playing online and go to playing single player. They don't care, aren't going to fix it, and just blame our connections instead. I'd suggest your son just play the online modes that don't do this goofy face off lag for him, or there is a ton of single player stuff, like various tournaments, franchise, seasons, etc.

Community ManagerCould you also have him try playing Rush online to see if the same thing happens? Does he have a friend he could play in HUT? We're trying to see if there's an issue with playing head-to-head matches.
