NHL 22 Franchise mode- Young Elite Player drop off

Hey everyone. So recently I’ve been playing NHL 22 Franchise mode after last year had that game breaking bug where players would gain natural growth then immediately receive an equal loss of natural growth. This time around, I’ve had low & medium elite players grow to around 88 or 90 overall, then in the off season drop to like 85 overall! Usually if it’s morale driven, it will be a 1 or 2 drop off at most, but their growth is literally rewinding in the middle of their prime growth years (19-25 ish). Is this another morale bug, and has anyone experienced this? Also it seems like all of my medium top 6 potential players have reached their potential without drop off, so as of now it’s exclusively just those with an elite rating. Let me know if you’re also experiencing this problem. Maybe it’s my coaches? Idk.

player I experienced this with first was Top 2 draft pick, Dorian Gratton. 2027 Entry Draft. Grew to 90 overall 2 years later, dropped off around age 23 and is an 85 overall now with 87 overall morale boost.
