Ever since the latest patch update I get crashes on terms and conditions. I’ve tried everything, I’m on a Series S. Clearly there is an issue with the patch. If this isn’t fixed I want my money back. This is on EA’s end. Get your team on this ASAP.

Try using the D pad to navigate on that screen. You should be able to find a button that lets you progress past this screen.
Community ManagerSorry about that. This is very similar to another issue that what I suggested resolves. Try going to ea.com and log in via a PC. You should be able to accept the terms here and have it work for NHL. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Can you try any of those on a PC/laptop and sign in to see if it prompts you to accept the Terms and Conditions before loading up NHL again?
I have the same issue. Been like two weeks i havent logged into the game, now i try to open it to go start a new franchise mode and it keeps asking me to accept the terms and then the game crash. I'm on a Xbox Series X and I've never had this before.

Tried everything suggested before. Even uninstall the game twice, tried with logging into another EA game and it doesnt even ask me to accept the terms and conditions on the other games. Tried to accept them on my EA account on computer but not sure where to find this?
When i log into my EA.com i don't get anything that says that i need to accept the terms and conditions. Only getting this in NHL 22. Then, when i accept them in game, the game simply close and im in that loop over and over if i try to restart the game..
Tried different games, even NHL 21, Madden 21 and 22, they aren't asking me to accept the Terms and Conditions neither of them. I can play them, everymodes. I still can't play NHL 22 that keeps crashing. I've got nothing usb connected, hard reset several times consoles + modem. I've tried connecting on my iPhone hotspot. Still can't open the game... Haven't touched anything on my Xbox since the last time i've been able to play. Also, everything is update on my console.
Community ManagerTry going to profile.ea.com. Do you see your gamertag here? If you do, you're on the right account. If not, you're most likely logging in to the wrong account.
@EA_Aljo i don't have any other EA account than the one i'm logging in. Im member since 2015.
Ok i finally got it, thanks lol. I just restart the game for the 500 times and it work this time lol
