How to link my EA Origin account with Steam?

Hi,

How to link my EA Origin account with Steam? In the FAQ it says to play EA game in Steam, but I have no EA game in Steam it ask me to buy one, but I don't want to buy game since I have the game already bought on the Origin.

Please help.

    Hello there @Avesteris ,

    The easiest way to link your Steam Account is by logging in on the EA Helps website and then signing in through Steam.

    Here's How:

    1. Navigate to the EA Help Website.

    2. Click log in at the top right of the page. (If you are already signed in, sign out and then click log in)

    3. When it pops up with the: enter your login credentials, click Steam at the very bottom. 

    4. Login with your Steam Credentials and then you are all set!

    Ok so I got my Steam and Origin account to link.. and now no matter which one I open it opens to like the steam version of the Sim 4? I had the deluxe sims 4 downloaded already but I read that I had to download the game on steam for it to link properly, which I did because my friend wanted to send me some DLC as a gift.. But now the free DLC I got when the game was switching from paid to free won't work.. It says that I own it but for some reason it keeps telling me to restart to use so I tried exiting the game and reopening but that didn't work so I restarted my laptop but it's still not opening.. I have no clue what to do bc I don't wanna lose the DLC I already have.. My saved games are there but I can't access one because it had content from the previous DLC I had.
