Hello, guys! Is it possible to come with a solution on how we can install our games from Origin when Internet is down?I ask this because there is a huge possibility that in the following months or years , due to economical problems or other problems we can easy loose connection with the EA servers .If this happens it will be impossible for us to install some of the games that we bought because of their dependency to online servers. Thanks for your kind answer.
Community ManagerHey @DragosTheWise it is not possible to install games through Origin without an active internet connection unless you have the game discs.

I have game discs for a lot of games from EA. But I bought a lot of games in electronic format. I am asking about an offline installer (just like a well-known electronic distribution platform has for its games) because of this: with the possibility of a huge economic crisis there is a bug chance that a lot of the companies in the IT industry will have financial problems or go bankrupt. A lot of them have problems right now. What will happen if your company goes bankrupt? How can I install or play the games that I bought ? An offline installer to download the install kit of the game will surely be appreciated.

As for an offline installer, there are no plans for one and it's not something that would be possible due to how games work. You need to be online to download a game.

About the offline installer: Good Old Games has offline installers for their games. I understand that an offline installer cannot be downloaded when the Internet is down. I was talking about downloading that offline installer BEFORE a possible (short term or long term)Internet collapse will happen. As for EA ,I hope it does not go bankrupt ,because I grew with their games. But ,as I said, we are living in some nasty times.
