Origin - Unable to Download DLC - "We're sorry, Origin tried more than once"

I have had the same problem not being able to download Cottage Living and Highschool Years! I hope they fix this soon with Horse Ranch coming out. I will try the vpn and let everyone know how it goes...

I recently got 2 packs, one was the university and the other was the high school pack, the university pack downloaded with no problem but the high school years pack keeps giving me a "download failed" message. I have tried to trash the EP12 file but I dont even have it in general, it won't download at all. I have downloaded the orgin troubleshooting tool, deleted and reinstalled orgin, restarted my Mac but nothing, can anyone help me please? why is orgin giving me a "download failed" error message. 

im having the exact same issue with the same expansion pack!!

I bought this pack today and am having the same issue. I tried clearing the cache on my computer and re-installing origin (I have a mac). Its also not a storage issue.

I'm having the same problem with Cottage Living and High School Years

I'm installing sims 4 on a brand new mac book pro and didn't have any problems with installing the base game or any packs, except for CL and HSY? Every time I open Origin both downloads immediately fail and I get this message "We're sorry, Origin tried more than once to download your game but was unable to. Please re-launch Origin and try again." If I relaunch Origin the same thing happens. If I go to the expansions directly and try to download the same thing occurs. 
I have tried reinstalling Origin but it made no difference. I also went into the Download cache to see if that would help because I saw that suggested elsewhere but there wasn't anything in the file. 
Aside from this issue the game seems to be running fine.

I just bought the landelijk leven DLC for the sims 4. 

My game keeps giving me the following error:

Downloadfout: Helaas, Origin heeft meerdere malen geprobeerd om het spel te downloaden, maar het is niet gelukt. Start Origin opnieuw en probeer het nog eens.

Restarting the game doesn't work, repairing the sims 4 in origin doesn't work. I have also ran that repair program the forum told me to run without any succes.

What do I do? 

I forgot to mention I also tried reinstalling origin, no succes. 

I think origins down, I've seen somebody else have this issue today. I just bought high school years and it won't install- so frustrated!!
