Origin "Could not connect to Internet"

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @Farshad_fr44.

Best thing to do when this occurs takes a couple of minutes to go through the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
• If still unresolved, please do a clean boot

Could you try using your phone as a mobile hotspot and connect over mobile data to see if the same error message pops up?

i have no problem with my internet i am sure
i can open any site & play steam games & fortnight

Did you get the error when using mobile data @Farshad_fr44?

If the issue was with Origin then we would see more reports of it, as we are not it is most likely a system or network issue.
