Origin Won't Install (Windows 11)
Hi! So I've been trying to open The Sims 4/Origin for a couple hours now, with no luck. It just... wouldn't do anything when I double-clicked or right-click>open, or run as administrator. I uninstalled Origin and now have been trying to re-install it, with still no luck. I click on the .exe file and the most that happens is the "Do you want to allow this to make changes to your computer?" and then after clicking Yes, the black-rimmed "Origin" window pops up, but remains blank white. I've installed the new VC++ files as mentioned, with no further progress. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Also I've attached the DxDiag file.
Editing to also add that there is no error message or anything that pops up, and that I've run the compatibility troubleshooter a few times with no success.
@hwangminhyun Use CCleaner to remove all traces of Origin (again), create a new admin Windows account, make sure Avast is still completely disabled, create another new folder (not inside an existing folder; the file path should be C:\new folder), and try to install Origin into that folder.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
