why i cant buy strangerville says it was released

Hi everyone,You shouldn't need to upgrade your game to the Deluxe edition to play The Sims 4 StrangerVille. If you are having redirection issues, please try the following:- Restart Origin client- Try to use Origin website instead: https://www.origin.com/store/the-sims/the-sims-4/addon/the-sims-4-strangerville- Go to your Game Library, click on The Sims 4 and then select the 'Game Packs' tab. Try to purchase/download the game from there.If that doesn't help, please, let us know!Thanks,-Mai

Yeah, it just redirects me to some Digital Deluxe Upgrade that I don't want to buy. wth?

Same here. It says as a requirement for the game all updates must have been installed. Hope that doesn't mean you have to purchase the upgrade; If so, I feel like they want expansion pack prices on a game pack. I'm so frustrated and bummed. I've been waiting for chat help from EA for 15 minutes and still haven't got a representative to help.

I am doing the same, now awaiting the chat, please update if you can as to what we should do otherwise I will say here what I hear back from them. This is not good, I hope that we do not need to purchase the upgrade because that was never the case for any other expansion/game pack before! ☹️

Logging out and back into Origin did the trick for me, thank you for your help, can't wait to start playing!! 🙂

I was told from a chat representative that it is a problem that many people are having and specialists are working on it. All we can do is wait!

Yeah I had the same problem. I just signed out of origin and then signed back in and was able to purchase it. Hope this helps!

I had the same issue. Was able to purchase through mobile app. But does not show up as content in origin library on PC. When I go to origin website it says sign in is currently unavailable.

This happened to me as well. I already bought the pack inside the actual game but I can't download it.
