Bring Back Battlefield Heroes

Ever since I heard the Battlefield Heroes song at the firing range in Battlefield 6, I haven’t stopped thinking that this game could rise from its ashes. Nowadays, there are tons of successful cartoon-style game, I don’t even need to mention them here. The thing is, Battlefield Heroes was one of the pioneers of this style. In my opinion, its downfall came from the excessive pay-to-win model that was added back in the day, which caused its player base to slowly decline.

Instead, the game could be monetized through skins, attractive battle passes with both free and paid missions. Weapons could be unlocked by leveling up your character, just like skill points. It was a very fun game that didn’t focus on strict balance between classes, weapons, or abilities—it was simply about playing to have fun.

You could even start with a system where players host their own matches to see if there’s enough demand before dedicating official servers. I’m convinced that many old fans would return, and that many new players from younger generations would also find it very appealing.
