when i try a Play Spore Galactic Adventures via EA App
i get this here

Similar problem for me. If I launch from EA app it only launch Spore base game, if I try to launch Galactic Adventures from the desktop shortcut or the executable it ask me to update the EA app.

It's not a perfect workaround, but the Spore ModAPI can get around this pesky issue.
It also allows for much greater functionality via mods. Most of the community uses this method nowadays.

Does this also happen with the base Spore version? If it doesn't, you can try going to which hard drive you saved SPORE in and loading up the SporeApp.exe executable for Galactic Adventures:
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Spore\SPORE Galactic Adventures\SporebinEP1
I Can only play Spore and C&C

True brother, I was able to somehow get it mostly working, likely through sheer chance, but I couldn't download C&C for some reason, so I deleted all the Spore stuff and that fixed it, but sadly GA broke again ☹️. I will be here to back you up.
I have deleted all Spore AND EA (All I have is Spore) stuff except for a good chunk of the roaming files, and did so very thoroughly using a PC cleaner, I have restarted my computer countless times, obliterated the cache, and downloaded and opened Spore and C&C one at a time, all to no avail. Update after update of who knows what has fixed nothing but the passage of time. I feel as though this is an EA issue and not a user issue, as you can't even launch GA through EA but have to do so by finding the application in your files and launching it from there, otherwise it will just launch regular old spore. To anyone else with this issue, I recommend trying to open GA a few times before giving up on seeing if a fix works, because it's just that unstable. GA worked with no issue on Origin.
