Can't play GA. EA app displays"Update Required" everytime I try.
This has been asked before in EA and reddit foruns but i need recent and alternative advice because EA is a mess. Timeline is as written:
- I bought the game and CC on steam
- Online features did not work, contacted EA support for a free game key. Result: success, I can now be online playing through steam and enjoy CC
- I wanted GA, but steam has it blocked for my country for some reason (Portugal and Spain both affected for some reason)
- Decided to buy GA on EA
- Spore doesn't start with GA
- Seek advice. Try to start GA from .exe file - same problem everytime: "Update Required" (needless to say it just restarts the app and problem persists)
- I will try to contact support about the non-working dlc tomorrow
- Thinking about refunding everything because I would really like the full game
- Please help
