Can't unlink XBOX account from my EA Account

Hey all. On a whim, I decided to check my EA account and the UI seems to have had an update and I was able to unlink the erroneous accounts. You should check and see if it will work for you.

I have an old EA account I can’t access and EA can’t unlink that from my Xbox account so I can link a new account. Been going on since January. I just want to play Mass effect 3 online with a buddy.

Im having the problem aswell, recently i tried to unlink my xbox Account which i did and tried to link it to my current one but always when i try something like import friends and stuff the App tells me i have already linked somewhere else wich cant be possible and i when i try to link it again it doesnt work tells me i have an xbox Account Linked but there is no Option to unlink it i gues

lemme know if they've fixed this, i need help with mine as well, idc about the account itself i just want it unlinked from my xbox account so i can play games woth my friends

DO NOT SEND ME TO THE HELP SUPPORT TAB. i would like an actual opperator to help me and i have tried recovering my yahoo and its saying that it is shut down completely, with no chance of recovery. i have no access to this account but i do have access to my xbox account that ive used for YEARS and every time i bring up the game it still says the account is shut down due to inactivity. the account that i need unlinked that i have no access to is [edit: email address removed]

This has done nothing. I talked to you guys twice with this exact issue and all excuses as to can’t. Very unhelpful

Betcha filing a lawsuit with how difficult it is will get them to move their butts and do something.

I have this issue right here. Can’t unlink an old EA account and they are asking me for information that I don’t have anymore that I hope will match on their end. Then when they say, let our team look at here to see if they can help and then say, unfortunately, I really think a lawsuit would help this.

Yea this “community manager” is very unhelpful. Can’t access an old EA account to unlink my Xbox cause I can’t provide accurate info because the “system” won’t let them. I have screenshots of my current ea account and Xbox with matching emails for proof. I just think they don’t want to do the actual work and just make excuses.
