EA Launch

I'm not sure what's going on with the EA app, but I have only been able to launch The Sims 4 twice in over a month. Now the EA app is going back to not launching The Sims four, and other games on the EA are affected as well. Can we go back to launching our games from our computers?  Will it be two months before I can launch anything from the EA platform now?
