ok, I had this problem just like you guys, but someone kindly helped me fix it, so, I'm linking you guys what helped me out!!

i pretty much did the same thing as oats william, but a bit differently
works on windows 10
step one- go to regedit
step 2 do whatever oats said to do untill you are at the correct directory
step 3 delete all spore stuff you see. if it says spore, delete it.
step 4- uninstall spore and all other spore related applications you have installed (make sure in appdata you delete ONLY SPORE RELATED STUFF. it could destroy some other games you may own if you delete anything else.)
step 5- reinstall spore and all of its dlcs or expansions (if you have any)
step 6- launch spore.
it should work, if not, or you dont trust yourself, contact official help from EA.
