Resolved / Fixed.
I had the exact same issue on PC with EA SPORTS FC 26.
The game launched normally, EA Javelin / EA AntiCheat started, FC 26 opened, and I could play offline without any crash. I even tested a match offline and the game worked fine.
However, as soon as I tried to connect to EA online services, the game immediately crashed with no error message and returned to the EA App.
Here is everything I tried before finding the fix:
- Reinstalled EA AntiCheat / EA Javelin
- Rebooted the PC several times
- Renamed the EA SPORTS FC 26 folder in %LOCALAPPDATA%
- Tested the game with Wi-Fi disabled
- Launched the game offline, then re-enabled Wi-Fi from the main menu
- Changed / renewed my public IP address through my ISP app
- Checked EA server status for both EA App and FC 26
- Confirmed that my EA account was working normally in the EA App
- Confirmed that I could send and receive messages through the EA App
- Checked that the game only crashed when connecting to EA online services
None of these fixed the issue.
The fix was simple but radical:
I completely uninstalled the EA App, rebooted my PC, then reinstalled the EA App.
After reinstalling the EA App, FC 26 connected to EA online services normally and stopped crashing.
So in my case, the problem was not FC 26 itself, not my PC, not EA servers, and not EA AntiCheat. It was the EA App installation / local EA App environment.
If your game works offline but crashes only when connecting to EA services, try fully uninstalling and reinstalling the EA App.
