Hi!
Whenever I put the command " -w. " in the advanced start options, my game won't start. Origin just pretends to start it, to just pop back up after a few seconds
Make sure that you did not activate Origin in the game
It blocks the game on startup and you get a black screen 🙂

Thanks for the help! My game started again, but the problem I have now is that there is some weird glitchy/buffering line running horizontally from top to bottom on my screen, which causes my game to lag real hard, have you got a solution for that?
I use the following settings for MBP 2015
These settings work best without problems
Navigate to Settings, Graphics Settings

Do you play in windowed or in fullscreen mode?

Playing in windowed mode

Oh oké because whenever I use the windowed mode the game shifts to the top of my screen in such a manner that I can't see half of the screen and my cursor doesn't match what i want to click
BTW I also have a Macbook Pro 15" from 2015

Nevermind! I managed to make it work myself!
Thanks for all your help, without you it wouldn't have been possible for me !
You truly are a hero!
It's great to hear that your game is running. Thanks for your wonderful feedback. 🙂
Enjoy Spore 🙂

Hi,
So i managed to get Spore working thanks to your help. However, after double clicking 'cider_noui' to get it launched, it popped up coding which continuously develops until i close it - which closes the game.
Any help to stop this? Otherwise after playing for an hour it wouldve made thousands of lines of repeated code.
It's saying:
err:dsound:DSOUND_timer could not acquire mix lock
err:dsound:DSOUND_timer failed to get the lock for the buffer 0xa6e6af0
Thanks.
