Hey Chris_Mustard,
Thank you for reaching out about Anthem after the latest game update, letting us know you'd like to see the IP continue somehow, and praising the art assets; I played the game not too long ago and thought the same thing.
I hope I can help answer your questions about modding and using EA content. This article about EA's IP policies explains that, in general, EA does not allow any modifications to the games; you can also find more information about the sunset process in this other article.
Let us know if you have other questions or need help with anything else. In the meantime, there's a bit more time to enjoy the skies of Anthem while the servers are still up and running!
What is the likelihood that EA would release the server files, modified so that MTX items are obtainable in-game via drops (Like Wayfinder), and attach the server files to Anthem as a free optional DLC? This would allow EA to continue to sell the game, while no longer shouldering the cost of server hosting. I made a change petition with my argument for this in it. Maybe take a look and then push the suggestion to higher ups and see if it's feasible? I know companies need to make money, and this would at least allow EA to still justify selling the game.
