Hi @sporeguy98 Thanks for your wonderful feedback and enthusiasm for this game. Unfortunately I must tell you there will be no successor. The developer studio was closed many years ago, Maxis Studio is no longer available for Spore and therefore there will be no sequel. Thanks for playing Spore. I know these are spin-offs, but there was 2 other spore games. Darkspore, which was an MMO that got shutdown, like Need for Speed World. - http://darkspore.com/ and Spore Hero, which is a Wii game. XD - http://www.spore.com/what/wii If you like the look of darkspore, I highly recommend downloading and installing the Spore mod, "Dark Injection" which gives the UI a darkspore style, and adds a ton of Darkspore parts to the creature creator. I hope this will satisfy your want for more spore.

EA is only interest to create easy money making games, like nhl, fifa, nfs, sw and sims. Creating Spore 2 is too big risk to take.

There was a thing that was promoting the Wii game, it was called SPORE Creature Creator 2D, shortly, Spore2D. Right now there's no way to access the flash game.

It would be nice if they handed the spore community the game's internal devkit. So that we could go through it's source code and fix whatever problems the game has ourselves, maybe also make better mods with it too.

A sequel isn't impossible. EA/Maxis doesn't have to start from scratch, they could use what they have now and build upon it and fill in the gaps. This could be done by another studio if it has to (I'm sure EA could gather up a handful of the old dev team to help the new team with whatever old tools or assets that needs elaborating)
