Spore Account Recovery Assistance

EA Support told me to post here so continuing the discussion (case #212436351).

I have an original Spore account that I'm trying to log into. I'm not positive what the email is (though I have a few guesses) and I definitely don't know what the password is.

I own the original CDs, the steam versions, and I'd be willing to purchase the EA app versions so I don't care where I have to launch from, I just want to link that account to my current EA account.

Is there any way I can recover that account?

    Just to clarify, I definitely DO have access to whichever email it is and with the ability to do a password reset on the email I could reset the password and probably unblock myself but there seems to be no way to reset the password of the Spore Account, only an EA account (which I don't think the Spore account is linked to?)

    Update:
    I figured out what the email and password were but the reason the log in wasn't working was because the account had been deactivated with no recent sign ins. To reactivate the account you need to reset your password which isn't possible because the email in question had been deleted which meant the account is impossible to reactivate.
