spore bot parts badge?

hihi! just wanted to ask if i could get the badge for being able to share bot parts. ive asked customer support but idk if that's gonna go through.

im not impatient, so it can be whenever - i just wanna share my little guys.

ive been playing for like... years. my first account, ranivorous ( https://www.spore.com/view/myspore/ranivorous ), has been around since like, a little bit after launch, and it's been there since i was like... 3. this game was my childhood (i have two of the spinoffs, hero and hero arena, i have both art books, the poster from the prima guide is up in my room, etc..). it's even part of the reason why i started drawing.

my CURRENT ACCOUNT, Espyy ( https://www.spore.com/view/myspore/Espyy ), is where i decided to start anew. i'd really like it if i could get the ability to share the bot part creations i've made, since having them was a childhood dream for me haha

have a good day!

  • Hey @Espurresso

You can only get the Bot Parts badge via customer support on their live chat service.

Let them know you'd like to attach the Bot Parts badge on your account and provide them your e-mail that you login on the Spore client.

Just keep in mind there is a lot of mixed success because most customer representatives are unaware that the bot parts exist. So perseverance is key. Good luck!

  • thank you! that's what i did, haha. i explained what they were (sort of), the person who reached out to me said that they knew i wanted the bot badge (not in that wording specifically, just that they knew i wanted a badge). i'll probably elaborate further if asked about it, idk.

i'm more than happy with being patient, i know stuff like this takes time - esp with a 16 year old game that's, as much as i do love it, built with twigs and hope. gives me more time to make some beasties before sharing them proper. would it be good to reach out again in a few months if i don't see any results, with a proper explanation of what the parts are in case they don't know?
