Thank you for replying, I was just on that yesterday, I did both methods and I am still getting the error. Yesterday I used Method 1 which was downloading the program to fix it, but when I tried to launch Spore the same error popped up, then  used method 2 today. The changes I was suppose to make to the Registry were already there.

Oh no, I got the same error this morning, I moved my Spore folder from Desktop to my Steam folder and I'm still getting the same error.

Thank you for the guide, but I have already verified the files a couple times and still giving me error 1004.

I have the same problem but when I was searching for the spore file I could not find it!
