Steam users unable to create Spore account or redeem game on Origin

Exactly the same issue, 4 years on, after purchasing Spore on Steam. Bit of a joke, really, paying customers for an EA product can't access all features because it wasn't on EA's store. To be honest, if support can't provide a CD key to active online, will just refund Spore and call it a day. Can live without it and EA's rubbish
