i got the game to work but the screen glitches and will freeze with the music untouched and multiple lines of random stuff usually the next screen. i can't play because i keep getting killed before i even move or the game shows that i moved

Go under c / Username / AppData / Roaming / Spore and delete there the Graphic Cache
Make sure you can see the all the hidden folders

The file you can only see , wehn you adjust all the hidden files, take look at the Microsoft link
On pic I've mark the file that needs to be deleted. Spore created a new one when the game starts
if you have everything set up correctly, you can see this folder under
c / YOUR USERNAME / AppData / Roaming / Spore
