Why do my evos not work

Is anybody else having difficulties while trying to evo a player  i have 7 repeatable attacker round out but when i try put anyone in its saying there was a problem connecting to the football ultimate team servers its been like this for 3 days the evo runs out in 2 days and im unable to use it EA need to sort this fast or people will want compensation its also happening with the old school winger evo any ideas would be great thanks
