Apple Play Device Not Loading Cloud Save

I’m able to load my saved game on my IPhone 14 and play but when I try to play on my TV monitor from my Apple Play device my cloud save won’t load. This is where I usually play and with no problems. I can’t find any reference to the cloud anywhere in settings either. It does show me as “signed in” but it’s ignoring my cloud save. Usually the cloud save loads automatically. Now it defaults to rookie status every time. The time before this it gave me the option to at least manually load my saved game from the cloud. I have tried offloading and re - loading the app, unplugging and restarting the game several times, nothing works. The Real Racing App tells me “a new update is available - go to the App Store and get it now!” Doesn’t the app update automatically? How do I manually do an app update on an Apple Play device? Once again, everything is saved and working on my IPhone but not the Apple Play device. Please advise, thanks.
