How to amend the email address of my codemasters account

Dear team,

I have a huge complaint about getting assisted from the EA support.

I recently bought dirt rally 2.0 and wanted to login to my account (racenet mentioned ingame)
My codemasters account was registered under an email that I don't use anymore, I have deleted that email account ages ago.

I am trying almost all night to find out how to amend my email address of my codemasters account in here https://accounts.codemasters.com/account/update . I can login with my old credentials, but this is wrong, I want to be able to use my current email address.

I can not edit the email address in there by myself, there is no option.

I went to the ea chat support and spend 2 hours in there, talked with 3 agents, who didn't have a clue at all, one of them couldn't understand anything from what I was writing to them and they were stuck that I wanted to amend my EA account's email which wasn't the case.
The other one actually asked me what is racenet and then they provided me with a link that was leading into a site with horses (lol) and asked me to just log in and edit my email.
Then they provided me with this link https://www.codemasters.com/contact-us/?region=usa

in order to contact the codemasters support, guess what, the link https://www.codemasters.com/support inside that page  redirects to EA in order to provide me support....
EA acquired codemasters but then unable to provide support for their older games...

Worst customer service experience ever.

So please tell me, who I am supposed to contact in order to get assisted?
