I have absolutely the same issue. When I download and install the game it works well, but when I download my cloud save the game freezes on a splash screen.
I opened support tickets in the in-game chat multiple times but have no positive result.
Today, in response to my next ticket, I was advised to post in this chat to see if there are other people with the same problem.
I was also informed of the following: «we have forwarded your report as feedback to our game team and if they determine enough players have the same problem and the problem is technically addressable with a patch, or if a work around is possible in the game so they can furnish better game-play experience for you»
I ask everyone who has the same problem to write here! The more people write, the greater the chance that the problem will be solved!
- 4 months ago@gjpec2zmcikm I have reported this problem and posted numerous times in this forum, and have also seen countless others post about this problem.
I have determined that it occurs when restoring a cloud save where the player has been driving either the Ferrari SF90XX Stradale or the Hyundai i20N rally hybrid.
One contributor posted around December 15 that he had been in contact with a community manager who had confirmed this bug and expressed that it would be fixed, cautioning that it would take some time due to the holidays.
Holidays are over, we should be getting some results by now...- 4 months ago
Hi. I don't know if the car the player is driving matters, but I can say that for the past three months I have been communicating with support almost every day via the in-game chat, and I can say that I deeply doubt that the bug will be fixed anytime soon.
In general, the support service cannot stand any criticism. I wait several days for a response to each of my messages! The ticket is closed without resolving the problem, and when I open the next ticket, I am asked a lot of the same questions. And because I have to wait several days for each subsequent message from the support service, the conversation gets to the essence of the request after a week at best. But in the end the ticket is still closed without solving the problem.
But I wasn't even told approximately when we could expect a fix.
The support response was as follows: «What I am going to do is, I will take this as feedback for the team who will monitor the situation and see if the same problem arises for other players out there. As soon as the issue is reported we will be able to identify how many players were affected and how it will affect in the future part. This will then give our Studio the right data to begin working on a fix for the game.
While I cannot provide an estimated timeframe for when this will be addressed, I assure you that it will be reviewed.»
