Not sure if this will help u guys out but I changed my trajectory too high on my golfer started on medium..took few shots to get use too but I'm really hitting better approach shots and levelling up my stats and specs has definitely made life easier for me.

Appearently Acrade turns off grass physics entirely. going up to pro will let the grass slow the ball down.

I understand some people’s issues with rollout on maybe like an extreme hilly course like Chamber’s Bay. However, most of these complaints it seems as if your using the swing mechanic of the game completely wrong. This game all relies on swing feedback from the analog stick, how fast you push it back up matters quite a bit on different clubs. I figured this out and have had multiple hole in ones and have the trophies to prove it. Here is a hint, as soon as you see the meter hit the “arc” on the left of screen, this is when you pushback, based on the club, that determines speed of your push. I’ve finally got my guy to around 91. Quite fun to play and hope everyone gets improved scores! 

Simple as this there is no spin for shot types. Just high/low. There needs to be another meter for pre-shots to set top or back spin. This game with 9+ wind  at your back all shots are rockets.  You have to play like 40 yards from pin if you want it to even be close to pin after roll. Loft makes the ball carry further but does not add any kind of spin. It will make ball land softer with less roll.

Ball control on any level is non-existent and I'm forever overshooting the greens no matter what club I use. When a shot was below sea level I would always under-club by 1 or 2 clubs and if above normally club up or just hit a bit harder but this has no effect whatsoever, I'm at a complete loss right now.

The wind also either has an effect when it feels like it. I had 2 shots with 5 mph dead right so I adjusted for that and the first shot went left with no effect and the other went so far right it was like a gale was blowing.

EA sort this out please, you got something good here but could quite easily become the worst

Thats weird because I've played every ea golf game since World Tour Golf in 1986 and I find this game plays very similar to old tiger woods games.   I'm really not noticing an issue on the green or off.   You do get more spin as you put more points into the skill as an above poster noted though.  

I agree on the roll-out, especially with woods, long irons, etc. I switched my 3 and 4 iron to a 5 and 8 hybrid which helps a little but even a 5 iron can roll forever whether you bring it in as a high fade, draw or not. And never mind trying to stop a 3 wood. The biggest beef I have is if you try to dampen the ball by hitting the fairway just in front of the green, on most courses and most of the time, the ball just dies and you get no roll-out at all so you can't rely on playing a shot short of the green to roll-on. Even bringing in shots low has no affect most of the time. Are there different ball dynamics for drive and approach shots?

Unlike Rory McElroy 15, you can’t swing away and add massive amounts of spin and stop the ball next to the hole. This game makes you think about your shots first. Wedges and short irons (anything more than a 7 iron are pushing it) will not roll as much when aimed towards flat or uphill parts of the green. In cases were you have to use a wood or long iron (ie a long par 3) aim the shot short of the green to account for the rollout and hope for the best. Using this strategy I have found much success. For example I was able to play 72 holes at Augusta and shoot -41 for the tournament.  Just pay attention to the elevation differences when aiming your wedges and short irons into the greens and I think you’ll like the results b

I have reached level 40 and am playing Wetlands Golf and Country Club, Florida, which is the first time I have really encountered this problem. This is a very long course, and reaching (some) par fives in two obviously involves a long second shot, which just will not stop. The same with the par 3 holes, all of which are long. Getting anything to stop is impossible, and if I try to pitch short of the green and run onto it the ball stops short of the green! I have tried all of the shot types, high shots, reduced swing - all to no avail. Having said that I find the greens are not the most difficult, it's just getting on them in regulation that is difficult! I have even tried deliberately aiming for the sand - but invariably the pin is a long way from the bunker.

Try a high shot.  Not a specific shot type but shaping your shots higher.  On X-Box it is the opposite thumbstick than your swing.  A high Shot will allow the ball to land softer and have much less rollout than any other shot.  I had the same problem as you have.  lofting my shots helped until I got my specs up.  Then I didn't get the roll out like I did in the beginning.  I would suggest also investing your gold points into control to lesson the spin effect.  Also know that pitch and chip shouts should be played short for the roll out.
