Constant Criticism in This Forum

Everytime I come to this forum looking for helpful comments and looking to keep updated with news about the game, I am constantly faced with certain members constantly criticising the developers, the game physics and just about everything about the game, constantly comparing it with the so called superior 2K23. I have played many different golf games over the last 25 years, all had their merits, but not all were perfect. HB studios came closest with The Golf Club, but it too had its pros and *. EA's Rory Mcillroy was not a good golf game for serious golfers, and by serious golfers I mean those who play and understand golf and are seeking to experience golf from an amateur struggling to reach a highly professional standard in order to compete with the best. For me, I find EA golf fulfils this, I can start as a rookie and build up my skills (I do this by playing the game as any real life golfer would, by playing every round with a fully specced AI) and I build my golfer with those objectives.

EA golf gives me the graphics to immerse myself on the courses and I have to say, the ball physics are on a par with the real pro televised golf.

The many complaints about EA golf seems to be about players wanting the game to suit their own style of how they want the game to be rather than adapting to the what the game actually is and then basing their wants and needs as an extension of what they want in the game rather than negatively criticise a game that has huge potential to become even better.

I do not think that it helps for those people who prefer 2K23 to compare it with EA as the two games are based on different philosophies and therefore presents as an alternative to each other. It is more beneficial for members of this forum to lobby for the positives they want to see in this game rather than needlessly carping about the positives of another golf game.
