Different Swing Animations with Different Meter Timing

I have been playing golf games for years and they are always pretty much the same. One thing I am surprised that NO GOLF game in the industry has done at least from what I can tell is make it to where the timing matches the golfers actual swing! I am a slower speed guy therefore I need a slower swing attribute. NBA games have shooting styles of every player to dictate shot meter, why hasn't this been incorporated in ANY golf game in the industry. If it's a cash grab you are looking for, I would pay for an older John Daly Swing or an armature swing rather than the same swing regardless of the player.

  • One or two old EA TW games had a swing and club tuners. The way I remember, you had to take 10 swings on a range and the game adjusted your swing that way.

  • You can change swing speed in player settings. Are you saying your real life speed is slower than the slowest setting.

  • I know you can change the speed in the settings and I have used calibrate shot on the other golf game before. I just figured it would be nice to have the golfers actual animation and timing. We have animation for Saquan Barkley reverse jump in Madden! LOL!

You obviously have not played Perfect Golf which you can still purchase at Steam for about $34 CAD.  Real Time Swing Mouse or RTSM uses a mouse and when playing there is no meter.  There are two parameters which mimic a real golf swing.  Tempo and swing path.  For tempo it does not matter how fast you move the mouse back or forward.  It is the comparison between how fast you pull the mouse back vs. pushing it forward.  Ideally the tempo should be .25.  In other words the backswing is 1/4 the speed of the downswing.  This combined with the movement path of the mouse will determine ball flights such as draw, pull, fade, slice.  When playing a course there is no meter but the swing is so good you can "feel" where you went wrong.  If you go to the driving range or play a course in practice mode a meter will displayed so that you can adjust/refine your swing.  You can swing fast like Nick Price or a slow like Ernie Els.  In my opinion, still the best swing method for any golf game ever released.
