DirectX Error - PGA Tour PC

Hi @faaatzge Can we try the following steps and check if the message continues?

• EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery) 
• Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
• EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
• EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
• Steam - Verify in your library
• Remove any over-clocking or undervolt settings or software and check if the issue continues. 
• Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
• Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates  
• Default your game to the high-performance GPU, AMD Settings | Nvidia Settings | Windows Settings

• Install/Repair your VC++ files for PGA Tour

have tried everything but still get the same error from directx

Summarize your bug Direct X error every time I load the game. Will then mess up the display on every aspect of my PC until I either restart or reinstall the 3080 Nvidia drivers. Only game that does this.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Direct X function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DEVICE-HUNG. Driver 53141,
What happens when the bug occurs? display goes weird with colors all wildly off
What do you expect to see? a fix posted

I just went to repair the game to see if that helps and the install went back to 14%. So maybe this is the issue. With my original install it failed at that percentage. I then tried to install again but it kept continuing from the previous install and failing again. So I deleted all traces of the first install and then reinstalled which seemed to work until I loaded the game and got the Direct X crash. So maybe the problem is caused by being unable to just start a totally new install.

This is ridiculous. I just went and uninstalled the game and started a new install. But despite having uninstalled the game it returns me to the 14% downloaded point. How on earth do I completely uninstall the game and try a completely fresh install that will hopefully fix the problem??

And now it says download error. So I cancelled the download. And then tried to download the game fresh to a different HDD. And, lo and behold, it's stuck at 14% instantly (even on a different HDD after deleting the game).

HI @faaatzge To confirm does your system have a power saving/energy saving mode it might be set too. 

If not, confirm that the AMD GPU is set to run PGA: AMD Settings and in Windows Settings.

If this continues can you put your machine in a Clean Boot and then launch the PGA Tour?

Hi Ich habe es ausprobiert und es hat leider nicht geklappt. und ein neuen saubern start ist es mir ehrlich gesagt nicht wert alle anderen spiele wieder neue instaliern
