My wife and I created own characters and played locally againts each other in old EA Sports golf games.
The characters we created had their own look, clothing and skills and
these characters could improve their skills by performing tasks.
We could choose where to play and so on.
Is this kind of activity possible in EA Sports PGA Tour 2023?
I didn't even consider looking into this major issue before purchasing. I just assumed this basic feature would be implemented.
Also, is there no way of assigning separerate controllers for each local player?
Right now we can only use one created player instead of two or more and we need to pass the controller between each shoot.

I can't believe this hasn't been addressed yet. The game's been out for 6 months and this should have been a feature at launch.

7 months after launch, I'd guess NO, but I'm flabbergasted this wasn't an option day one. ABSOLUTELY FLABBERGASTED! We could play this way in EVERY OTHER EA GOLF GAME. Why remove the feature? I'm even more shocked you have so far refused to answer this question in any way. You haven't even said, "We don't know yet." DO YOU READ THESE???
I just came to see if they ever fixed this. The game is basically useless to me. All I ever did was couch co-op with my friends. For every Tiger game ever made. I haven't played this one in months. What an idiotic decision. Add it to the lack of 94 controls in NHL, the removal of the great presentations in EAFC, NHL and Madden, and the general destruction of franchise mode across the board, it's been moronic decision after moronic decision this year. I am done with spending money on EA games. Simply just not worth it anymore. They have gone from fun as hell to frustrating as hell. FYI, I've bought over 60-70 EA games over the years. Probably more. Been playing them since Hockey 93 on Sega Genesis. Unless they get their heads out of their butts, I won't be buying ever again. Whatever stuffed suit clueless executive makes these choices should find themselves a different industry to work in. Clearly their knowledge of sports gaming is , well, let's face it, they just don't have any..
